Join Life Rites celebrants Annette Tesoriero and Victoria Spence for an afternoon of talking, listening and singing to our relationship with living, dying and death.
This participatory event offers the opportunity to explore death as a sacred rite and to increase our literacy and familiarity with both the emotional and physical aspects of death: our own and of those whom we love.
Join Victoria and Annette as they muse, ponder and question the place of music and voice within the context of western traditions of death, dying, funeral rituals and practices.
How can we listen more fully to our everyday dying while living?
What is the sacred place for voice at the threshold of dying and living?
Come and listen with your heart, stretch the muscle of your soul and expand your mind, as we continue to understand death as one of life’s most sacred passages.
